I was skeptical about giving up real ice, but this bag stayed solid from Friday night through Sunday and my sandwiches never got soggy. Ten pounds is a nice size for a mid-size cooler, and nothing leaked or sweated through. No more dumping water at the campsite.
Kept a full cooler cold all weekend and everything stayed dry since there's no meltwater sloshing around. The 10lb bag is heavier than I expected but it's basically a one-time haul for a whole season of camping trips.
Tossed these in before a three-hour drive to the lake and everything stayed cold without a drop of meltwater in the bottom of the cooler. The Glacier Blue ones are a nice solid size for packing around drinks, and I like that I'm not dumping soggy bags of ice every trip anymore.
